4. Data Persistence & Loss Disclaimers
Your data is stored exclusively in your browser's local cache/Local Storage.
Because we do not store your count logs, settings, or mantras on our servers, we cannot recover or restore your progress if it is cleared. You acknowledge and agree that:
- Clearing your browser cache, browser data, or resetting settings will delete your counts.
- Using private browsing (Incognito) modes will cause counts to be lost as soon as the browser tab is closed.
- Device malfunctions, browser updates, or cache corruption may cause unexpected data loss.
We strongly recommend utilizing the **Export JSON** backup option in the settings menu frequently to keep a copy of your progress.
5. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Chant Counter or its creators be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data, loss of spiritual counts, or business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the counter, even if notified of the possibility of such damages.
